RSA, part of Intact Financial Corporation, has named Tovah Grosscurth as the new managing director of its Commercial Lines business, effective immediately.

The appointment is pending regulatory approval.

Grosscurth succeeds Sonya Bryson, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

Grosscurth, who has been with RSA for 28 years, will report to Ken Norgrove, UK & International CEO.

Norgrove said: “Sonya has been a valued member of my team for the past 18 months and has played a fundamental role in the integration of NIG and FarmWeb. We are now seeing the benefits through improved service to brokers and increased visibility in the market. I want to personally thank Sonya for her contribution and wish her the very best going forward."

In April this year, the company revealed plans to rebrand RSA Insurance, NIG and FarmWeb to Intact Insurance by the end of the year, following the acquisition of RSA by Intact Financial in 2021.

In the new role, Grosscurth will be responsible for the strategy, profit and loss, and performance of the commercial lines division in the UK.

Her experience at RSA includes various roles in strategy and change, claims, operations and leadership of the commercial lines E-trade business.

Norgrove added: “I have worked with Tovah for many years and am particularly pleased that we are able to promote from within RSA for this important role.

“I am confident Tovah will build on the momentum we have in the business and use her strong leadership and operational expertise to drive our transformation in becoming the UK’s best Commercial Lines insurer.”

"RSA appoints new managing director for commercial lines " was originally created and published by Life Insurance International, a GlobalData owned brand.
