Stock Market Takes Another Crack at a Rally After Good Bond Auction
Stocks were rising once again on Wednesday after an auction of 10-year Treasury notes saw solid demand.
The Dow was up 200 points, or 0.5%. The S&P 500 rose 0.2%. The Nasdaq Composite gained 0.2%. All three were wavering prior to the auction.
The yield on the 10-year Treasury note was down to 4.42% on Wednesday, hitting its lowest levels of the session after the latest 10-year note saw strong demand from buyers.
