Payments provider xpate has entered an alliance with Silverflow, a payment processing platform, to enhance its acquiring services and bolster real-time payment capabilities.

This tie-up is said to be a “major milestone” in xpate's efforts to streamline global payments and reduce the friction in accessing funds.

As a payment provider designed for fintechs and digital enterprises, xpate integrates card payments, foreign exchange, and banking services into a single account, offering businesses straightforward access to essential financial tools.

This support is crucial for digital businesses aiming to grow, scale, and innovate with confidence in a highly competitive payments sector, a release from Silverflow stated.

xpate sought a partner to elevate its back-end operations and tackle inefficiencies that are often present in older systems. The company also faced the challenge of expanding into various European markets, which added complexity to its operations.

xpate CTO Ruben Vosmeer said: “Silverflow isn’t just a provider; they’re an extension of our team. Their ability to quickly adapt, problem-solve, and anticipate our needs makes all the difference.”

Silverflow said that its API-first infrastructure emerged as a “scalable, reliable, and developer-friendly” solution, enabling xpate to onboard within weeks and gain real-time transaction insights by connecting directly to card schemes.

Silverflow's improved dispute resolution process also allowed xpate to proactively address issues before they affected customers.

The partnership between Silverflow and xpate is stated to have delivered multiple benefits.

This includes a faster time to market with full integration achieved in weeks, operational improvements such as reduced debugging time and fewer disruptions, and higher merchant satisfaction due to quicker dispute resolution and fund availability.

Additionally, it has facilitated xpate's expansion in the EU, with new merchants onboarded in multiple countries, and has supported “frictionless innovation”, with Silverflow providing custom solutions even outside normal working hours.

Silverflow CEO and co-founder Anne Willem de Vries said: “xpate is a forward-thinking partner that truly understands the value of modern infrastructure in scaling global payments. Our collaboration is built on a shared commitment to speed, transparency, and innovation — and it's been exciting to support their rapid growth across new markets. We don’t just provide technology; we solve problems together, in real time.”

In April this year, Phos, a provider of SoftPoS orchestration solutions for businesses, also partnered with Silverflow.
