Stock Futures Rise After Inflation Comes in Slower Than Expected
Stock futures turned higher after the May consumer price inflation was cooler than feared.
The May consumer price index rose at a 2.4% annual rate, which was below the consensus among economists at 2.5%.
Dow futures were up 0.3% in the wake of the report. S&P 500 futures were up 0.4%. Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.5%.
