Why the Dow Is Crushing the S&P 500 and Nasdaq
The Dow was running away from the other major indexes on Tuesday, but it’s still down from its December high.
The blue-chip index was up 400 points, or 0.9%. The S&P 500 was down 0.3%, while the Nasdaq Composite was down 1%.
A majority of stocks were actually rising, but some key S&P members were struggling.
