US company Elevation Point has made an investment in Family Office Partners, a newly launched independent wealth management firm.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Family Office Partners serves clients across the southern region.

Family Office Partners, led by a team of former UBS private wealth advisors, manages approximately $2.5bn in client assets.

The wealth manager was established with backing from Elevation Point, allowing it to operate independently and meet clients' needs.

The twelve-person team specialises in comprehensive solutions for founders, entrepreneurs, and family offices.

The founding team, including Benjamin Domingue, Travis Frayard, and Shawna Prejean, brings over 60 years of combined industry experience.

Elevation Point CEO and founding partner Jim Dickson said: “This team has built deep trust with some of the most sophisticated families in the country.

Family Office Partners focuses on assisting families with significant private company interests, offering services such as investment management, private company transactions, and multigenerational wealth stewardship.

The firm also provides advanced family office services, including ESOP strategies, liquidity planning, tax strategy, estate structuring, and philanthropic planning.

Family Office Partners also gains custody access through Elevation Point’s partnerships with Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions and BNY Pershing.

The investment follows Elevation Point's recent partnership with Emigrant Partners, which included a senior debt facility to support Elevation Point's growth initiatives.
