Oil Prices Drop as Middle East Conflict Persists
Oil prices were falling early Wednesday after a day of gains when President Donald Trump appeared to consider getting the U.S. directly involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran.
Israel continued its air and missile strikes, including targeting some oil facilities.
Iran is a major exporter of crude for world markets, and the concern is that output will be hampered and restrict supply. Despite recent gains, oil prices are still well below where they were this time last year.
