Next week: Eco Foods 2025 conference set for debut
Arena International, Just Food’s sister events business, is holding its newest conference later next week, with a forum focusing on sustainability in the food industry.
Executives from Mondelez International, Danone and Arla Foods are among those set to speak at Eco Foods 2025 at The Minster Building in London’s financial district.
The conference – which follows the launch of the Eco Drinks event in January – will bring together delegates to discuss issues ranging from waste and water to energy use, vertical farming and the resilience of supply chains.

Baroness Bennett, a former leader of the UK’s Green Party, is set to give a keynote address during the morning session to set the scene on a day that will look at how the agri-food sector can become more sustainable while ensuring it can feed the population.
During the morning session, attendees will hear from UK vertical-arming business Fischer Farms, which will discuss its strategy in the fledgling – and often challenging – sector.
Later, ready-meals business Apetito will set out how it is working in the areas of energy, waste and water.
The pre-lunch session will also hear from Danone and its efforts on waste and energy before a panel featuring the UK’s Food Standards Agency, the country’s National Farmers’ Union, recycling charity WRAP and peanut-butter firm Pip & Nut explores the challenge of aligning production with net-zero targets.
After lunch, UK food-and-drinks group Princes will present on the topic of sustainable seafood before another panel on supply-chain resilience. The panel includes executives from Mondelez International, Westfalia Fruit, Premier Foods and meat supplier Hilton Food Group.
The afternoon includes the choice of three roundtables focusing on issues including packaging, carbon reduction and the use of AI in the supply chain.
The Eco Foods event closes with a panel exploring how brands can work together in the area of sustainability and features executives from Arla Foods, Thai Union and Huel.
